New business on edge of Lake District offers place to pause

Bloom with Berry has been set up by Fiona Berry, a qualified sauna master, and is found in the yurt and wood-fired sauna at Howgills Hideaway glamping site, tucked into the Howgill Fells.

Fiona was inspired to start the business as a way of promoting the area she loves, as well as an opportunity to work with the local community.

She said: "The space sits amongst the hills and offers yoga, Ayurvedic yoga massage, sauna rituals, slow wellbeing gatherings and creative experiences.

"I built it as a place for people to pause, breathe and reconnect without the fluff or 'wellness perfection' - it’s very much a back-to-nature, wild 'spa' and retreat experience."
